We love having dinners on the farm. Each season we host several local chefs to create a series of Farm Dinners running from June through October. Guests arrive and are served appetizers and beverages and then we do a tour of the farm. After we walk we convene around a long table and dine on food grown, harvested and prepared all on the farm. The atmosphere is fun and casual and the food is seasonal and delicious.
Tickets include a five course meal comprised of thoughtfully prepared produce grown on location. The meat used in the meal will either be raised on the farm or at a sustainable neighbour farm. Beer and/or wine is included in ticket price. Tickets are nonrefundable.

BRAD BRISKE – CHEF AT LA BALENA
Executive chef at La Balena & il Grillo. As chef he is responsible for locating the freshest, most local and nearly always organic ingredients that is then transformed into hand made cuisine. Bradford, La Balena and his recipes have been mentioned recently in the Edible Monterey, Monterey County Weekly and with Route 1 Farm. Before connecting with Anna and Emanuele Bartolini, Bradford was introduced to the local food community through Gabriella Café in Santa Cruz, after which he contributed to the opening of Main Street Garden in Soquel. After only being open for one month La Balena was voted the best new restaurant in Monterey County Weekly. Learning through experience since 2005 after graduating from the Natural Gourmet Institute in Manhattan, Bradford continues to make honest, wholesome loving hand prepared food as if you were family and sitting at his table.
