Get to know us through this brief biography of the farm. The farm was started by Kenny Baker in 2009. He had a dream to buy a tractor and lease fve acres of land, organically certify it, get to work, and grow some vegetables. Prior to Lonely Mountain Farm, Kenny worked for organic farms and production businesses in Santa Cruz county, where he became fascinated with the rhythms of the agricultural seasons and teachings. “With my hands in the dirt, doing my work is where I feel purposeful and at peace,” says Kenny. Within a few years the farm was producing heirloom potatoes, beans, garlic, tomatoes. The farm is always a dynamic place, but it has gone through many transformations since its onset.
Presently, the farm is located on twelve owned acres in Corralitos California, where Molly and Kenny Baker raise their family, and run Lonely Mountain Farm.
